Jakarta, Indonesia Part III

Now i've come to the final part of my Indonesia trip..i hope you guys arent getting bored but instead, still enjoy reading my sableng story..(oh, for those of you who dont know what sableng means, it's Crazy).

Third day, we filled it by making rounds here and there around Jakarta. Mind you, Jakarta is a huge city, with its own places of interest at each point; west, east, north, south and central..we manage to cover all except east.

One lil info about Jakarta, manajemen traffik nya aku kira very poor ya..bukan bias atau saja2 mau ngutuk, tapi berlaku di depan mata aku sendiri, pengurusannya butuh attention yang lebih..imajin aja, di setiap exit, pasti ada 'unofficial police traffic' yang akan ngontrol jalan, (memang kayak police traffic tapi sebenarnya cuma orang biasa yang sanggup berbuat apa saja demi untuk dapatkan uang), then terserah kepada driver2 yang lalu mau kasi uang nggak, biasanya dalam Rp 500 atau Rp 1000..(RM 0.35)

Juga di sana, aku nggak pantas ngeliat anak2 kecil kayak umur 5 tahun meminta sedekah..nggak kira di mana, (salunya di traffic light) mereka akan ngetuk cermin mobil, sambil ngunjuk bekas minuman kosong mau meminta uang..Waktu aku di Bandung, mereka ngikutin kita hampir sepanjang jalan sambil nyebut 'mbak, laper..uang mbak'...aduh...luluh hati aku mendengar tapi hati mesti tega deh..mulunya (selalunya) nggak genuine..mereka punya agent yang menggunakan anak2 kecil ini untuk meminta uang..kesian kan..nggak sanggup aku bayangin anak2 sekecil 4 5 tahun meminta sedekah..

Ya tutup kasus traffic and anak2 kecil..kita ngobrol tour aku around Jakarta ok?


Mangga 2 was our main destination for the day..it is something like Sg Wang..but way cheaper..so much cheaper i went crazy spending my cash..i bought sandals mostly, gimana tidak, bayangkan kalian, Rp100,000 (RM 35) aku bisa dapat 4 sandals and shoes!...and they are not of those yang kayak cikai2...semua nampak cantik2...mau liat sandals2 dan sepatu aku beli? bentar, 1 menit..

yea, believe it..some are Rp 100,000 for 3, some are 4..all are mine except for the 3 on far right..crazy rite..8 pairs..

Got lah lots other stuff i bought, just can't post too much..me myself pun jadi pusing...besides, if i put all, then u guys would be jealous pulak nanti, susah...nyia a a...we spent abot 4 to 5 hours at Mangga Dua alone..and it was an ocean of human...i could say i was tired because of the crowd..

at the national museum, we didnt enter cause it was already closed..


this place is also known as the business area..

There after, we went to the Monument, supposedly one of the main attraction for tourists. It is, yes, but the place stinks..the reason? cause got horses there, some people having the business of horse riding..we managed to take several photos, didnt actually go near the monument, due to the distance of walking so just amik dari jauh je lah..was not quite in the mood also sebab terlalu rame orang..long queue of people yang mau naik atas the monument..

We went out again that evening and went for steak somewhere around south Jakarta named Abuba..it was nice, i had sirloin and ice ovaltine..and it was affordable..total was Rp 170,500.. (about RM 59.80)thereafter, off for some picture takings near Central area, i think...



Journey back home to Sarawak took 13 hours all in all.. ( Jakarta - KL) (KL - Kuching) (Kuching - Sri Aman)..im crazy for still not sleeping yet at this time..padahal udah satu hari perjalanan...luar biasa juga energy nya..hehehe..

Ok then, i better 'type-off' now..time to go to bed..tomorrow and monday is my resting day..best..jangan jeles ya kalian, Senin aku masih lagi cuti, Easther monday..yippee..bye!(",)
