My journey back home

Sunday 12 October 08, time to drive back home.

[this isn't the first time i'm driving alone sri aman-kuching-sri aman]

As i normally would, i'll be driving fast, running the meter out if i possibly may say so. I just cant take slow drivers, it gets to my anger mode, of which i certainly want to avoid going into..And so, just as i was just about to reach Bukit Begunan [or Bangunan as it is referred to], i saw what seemed to be a massive jam and a definite major long queue. Big cars, trucks, bikes all 'over' the road. I was like 'what the hell??' I thought big trucks were the cause, but eh? SEMUA kereta dipadam enjin dan few people were walking around..'loh, apsal ni?'

"Kenapa kat depan tu kak?"
"Ada trak hangus la dik"

Truck carrying minyak sawit meletop tayar and skidded causing the oil to spill covering huge areas of the road. Burst to flames tapi luckily it didnt explode, cause it was not an oil tanker..kalau lahhhh oil tanker, i cant even begin to imagine how it would have looked like.

Sadistic part was, due to massive spill, road had to be closed..alamak ai, mcm mana ni? mcm mana haku nak balik? i was already gelisah..rupanya, ada jalan alternatif dari Lachau yang aku tak pernah tau sepjg umo aku idop..i called my bro, and my mom pulak jadi panik sekejap 8 minit. Naseb baek laaa anak Puan Dewi ni independent type, dont worry mom. I'm good.

See that, we were all diverted to an alternative route..naseb baek fuel aku masih setengah tangki..tapi har jalan masuk ke dalam mcm nak 'off-road'. Batu sebesar kepala aku ni ha, naseb baek jugak i was driving my pajero, if it was the other car? Mau aku tergolek pengsan.

One moment i felt i was a princess, sebab tetiba ramai plak memberikan perhatian lebey kat aku, maybe sebab aku pompuan, pastu driving sorang, pastu bawak plak kereta yang obviously tayarnya lebey besar dari aku.. all guys la ni, semua jadi baek hati menunjukkan jalan..

Nonetheless, i arrived home safely approximately 5pm, an hour late from ETA.

This shall not stop me from coming down to Kuching again. Haruslah kan lepak bersama geng...ada 'M' word..yerrr pza..
