Birthday Cards..

Remember the times when we still had films for our photos? The times when we still use letters to keep in touch with each other? The times when we still send traditional Raya cards instead of e-cards? And the times when u received birthday cards each year from fellow friends?

Seriously, i missed those days. No longer do people take bits of their time to write letters. No longer do people spare lil bit of their time to buy cards for special occasions. That is why, i am so so glad i still have all of them, some dated way back in 1996 till now.. How many of you get birthday cards nowadays? Hardly kan.. Ehek, this was given by my senior, hand made.. i made everyone clear i love Leonardo before..

2 person gave me this..but i seriously cant make out their names, ada signature saje..it was given on my 17th birthday.

And this, given by seorang lelaki berpangkat tinggi dlm kerajaan..i think our age gap is 13 years. I was 20 then. He used to go after me for a couple of years before, but ..ehek, never was a success. Oh well, he is happily married now, with one kid..he married my own friend. Yea.

Dozens more here ok..impossible for me to post them all. However, there's this one particular card, posted to my address back in 2004. I was 21. Initially i thought it has got to be someone i know from school. But..haih..no, bukan.. the person had a picture printed on the front cover of the card.. and that person is no one that i know of..

Oh well, i scanned it anyway.. maybe you guys have seen or somehow somewhere know this fella. Perhaps the person sent it unintentionally, to my address. Or did i have someone admiring me from afar before, and this may be, highly the person? Or maybe i was randomly picked? Nvm, enuff puzzles, let's just see the card..

Let's talk Car

Rakan-rakan, anda sihat? I'm great, except for the super hot day. Takpelah, tolak tepi. Dah malam dah pon.

Anyway, skrg sudah ada idea what to talk about. We'll talk cars ok.. Aku ni minat kereta .. Put aside la im a cute chick (ecewah) , i dont think it's wrong for females to love cars right?

Memandangkan i dont have that much money to splurge on luxury cars, these might be my options.. I have this target in life, 1) secure a good job 2) for a start, get myself a 2nd hand car 3) once im stable, i'll get my ultimate dream car - Honda Civic-R. Tak nak la beli keta mahal dulu, byr bulan mahal, jong2 tinggal mee maggi untuk aku makan. Haih. Haru dibuatnya.

Ha ok.. This is my first option..since my target nak amik second hand je kan, and word of mouth saying this Cutie is good, felt it's worth it, no? I've asked for the details and i'll lay one by one for you to read ok.

I used to ride this car before, sebab my late boyfriend own one. Pergh, marvellous!..Baik punya cilok lah..

My mother kureng berkenan with this car la, sebab hanya ada 2 pintu sajo..haih.. can i justify like this tak? - i'm buying a car, bukan untuk menumpangkan orang, so regardless berapa pintu, it wouldn't matter, would it, rite?

Saens & Mats in Ingrish?

Due to the fact im a teacher, let's talk about teaching Maths and Science in English. It came to light weeks ago over the PPSMI, whether or not it was a wise move to have it changed from BM to BI. And you wanna know what i think? Honestly, stick the language to Bahasa. Kata cintai bahasa kita kan, so ajar la dlm BM, no?

If you asked me, the ministry should consider improving student's english FIRST before permitting English in Science and Maths. Simple English they could not understand, let alone understanding technical or jargon word of science..! The solution, begin at a very early stage of their age, say Primary 3. At least they will have clues what english is all about, before making English into science and maths.

At times, i do pity my students who are really hardworking, but having major difficulties in understanding English. They are hanged with 2 jobs simultaneously, understanding each word and understanding what it requires. Some just gave up, 'susah Miss, english pun saya tak faham, ini kan pula nak faham sains & matematik dalam english' is just among a few i heard always.

It's now being reviewed by all the so-called orang penting negara segala. Each have their own piece of idea.. tapi aku tengok lebih banyak bertekak je dlm parliement, solution takdok..Bingit telinga. Do something already okay, you people!

Rainy Monday for Me

How's your Monday para bloggers- bloggers tegar?

Today, not a lumayan day for me. I was bitten by demam kus kus.. Everything ungsa angsi (yahhh, Myra, finally i used this word for the first time!). Hence, i took some time off from work and head my way to the clinic. Name of the doctor, Dr Guang. The minute i entered, i saw dozens of people were already waiting for their turn. Isk, ramai la plak..takpalah, and so i waited patiently..

Came my turn, Dr tanya mcm2..kena test itew, kena test ini..loh, kok teruk gini sih demam aku? ngapain..after a while, Doctor came with my result.."You, memang ada penyakit..sakit you ni adalah..sakit tidak melancong, maka haruslah melancong ok? Eheh.."

B.e.n.g.o.n.g.

Actually, takde la Dr ckp mcm tu.. Dia kata aku demam je..badan fragile, antibody lemah. Byk sgt bekerja katanya. Tulis2 atas kertas, i went out, for prescriptions. Time untuk membayar, "RM155 cik.." "hah??!! apa??? RM 155??" bergolek2 biji mata aku. "Eh salah ehehek...RM 55 cik.." " kau nang mintak pancung aku.." I went back to work though..rugi mintak MC..

And now, im relaxing at home dah, after work.. which i think is the best idea.. Doakan saya cepat sembuh ya rakan2..!
