One Fine Day

Yesterday morning, dilanda keboringan, i called my non-related blood uncle Francis Tan to join me for breakfast. He is one of the family's closest jolly good fella since before i was born. He was on a holiday, happily 'pencened' and has been in town for the past week from Miri visiting his in-laws.

Nak dijadikan cerita, after food hunting at the wet market, he took out a box, and to my delightness, it contained lotsa lotsa twinky nice nice bracelets simply any for me to choose!

"I think u'd like this, since i can see u are wearing one now", pointing at my wrist. At that time, I was wearing a pinkish purple bracelet, a gift from C Pauline for me. "Pick any, your choice", Uncle said...Walawey, You can imagine lah my keseronokan kan!! Initially i picked the prettiest 2, but Uncle soh amik lagi. Malewnya haku but tgn i laju jugaklah pilih another 3! hahaha, oh oh sungguh fat skin! ngeh ngeh ngeh.. nak tengok tak these special gifts from my Uncle?...Shanteq amat dong..

FYI, i used to date Uncle punya eldest son, wayyy back during high-school time. My closest friends would know him as Joeween. So? Ada diungkitkan ke tadi? BIGGY yes, you betcha. "You two were so close before, and yet, takda jodoh jugak", jeez i was kemaluan. However, i did reply, saying "We're soo much better off as friends, Uncle..nothing more and i like it that way.." Joeween would have thanked me for giving this answer, im sure. He and i are so much closer now than when we were a couple, something im so glad about, no feelings attached, just a sincere love from a friend to a friend. If ever u read this Joeween, belanja me makan aaa, i didnt report2 to your daddy how u always bully me. (",)

Uncle remained at my crib till 3pm. Fuh, imagine dari kul 10 pagi sampai 3 petang. listening to him never bores me. Ada-ada je tips berguna he shared with me.

Enjoyed his company, and surely am happy getting 5 bracelets at one shot! Thanks Uncle, you're the best..
