3-Inch Mud Puddle

Rainforest World Music Festival was a blast! Despite the puddle mud (did i mention the sand was smelly??) it was so whoa super duper fantabulous! The only thing i regretted was i had my heavy handbag with me i could not dance to the fullest energy as i would have wished! Sigh...Still it was, should i say, Rainforest was to trade your car for..hahaha...

Here's what's interesting. An elderly man saw my hesitation to step into the not quite yet puddle mud but soon to be, so he gave me two plastic bags, black and blue, for me to wear them as 'protection sandals' hehehe..Thanks uncle, you're my savior!

Event ended around 12am. We took off early in hope we could get the shuttle before others. Unfortunately we got outside a bit too late, as the queue was already unimaginably long! We decided to just walk back to our car which was parked at Santubong resort, some 2km away. Darn it.

Still, it was a major fun minus mud. I plan to again next year, let's hope they would cement the area, just so i wont have to wrestle in puddle of mud anymore! (I believe some might say, the mud was what made the event so enjoyful, right..?) *chuckles!

Aiyark, Internet Kena Bar

Half of me went crazy yesterday, my internet connection was cut off due to overdue payment. It was soooo not my fault, i paid the bills...only that, i paid my dad's past bills amounting to RM418.30.. Checking with TM Point, my own Streamyx outstanding bill was actually RM 416.10..best tak membaca amount tu? lagi best bila datang part membayarrrrrrrrr....! Kayap lagi account bank..

Anyway, I'll be away tomorrow, going for Rainforest World Music Festival with girlfriends. yippeee!! I so cant wait. Just, driving tires me..i was thinking of taking a cab, but due to few unforseen circumstances, i opt back to drive. Fuel sangat mahal, duit pula mengalir-ngalir tanpa perasaan belas kasihan..sigh..

Well, ok people, im going to bed..It's 10.45pm, im such a good girl. Night.

Addiction

I've a new pretty addiction : Earrings!.. i cant resist beautiful earrings. Only last weekend i bought myself 8 pairs of earrings, yesterday, i bought another 4 pairs! and they cost me only RM10 for 4. I blame it all on the designers for making such beautiful pieces i could not say no to them.

I hang all my earrings at this piece of plate mat, since i could no longer keep them in a box. Top is the recent 8 pairs and 2nd line is the latest i bought.

Let's see what i got for myself during my trip to Kuching

Got this for RM55 after 50% discount at French Boutique, Tun Jugah. Simple tapi sangat cantik. I like!

This was the one i bought last weekend at Friend's Boutique for RM90 after 20% discount.

I went again yesterday, but bought nothing sebab fulus dah susut buying the French blouse..hehe.. But i will definitely go again coming weekend! Dah aimed dah what i want to buy..

Among few others; these i got them cheap..RM 15 for the white floral long sleeve and RM 16 for the black red beauty. Cantik kannnn..

At RM10, this is so worth it. I bought it cause i know it will come in handy for my upcoming trip to Sabah soon. (",)

Other than all of these, i did not miss buying lipstick, chapstick, umbrella, and yea, the essential 'sarung tangan for driving'.. oh duit melayang-layang.. but im satisfied, so it's ok.. i'm not broke yet, so i dont feel that bad. heheh, addiction addiction..Never get me wrong though, i've never spent beyond my limit. I always make sure i have some for savings, bills and the rest, for my self-pleasure, i dont think that's wrong, does it?

Last weekend when i was there, MNG got sale, but that time no money leh...how leh, cannot buy leh.. got cute dress leh, i want leh...cannot tahan, must buy leh..orange colour some more..bare back leh, die. I said, "gotttttt, who say dont have, and i dont spend that much la sayang" ...His reply? "AS IF" hahahaa..kejam ho, mana da melanja manyak2.. dulu meli pun mukan untuk orang lain ma..simpan luit mau kasi plesent sama longkong (aiseh) juga maa.. Sulah ala luit, mau simpan manyak2 talak mau melanja (kedekut) tapi hati manyak mengidam mau itu ini, jangan itu macam..idup manyak pendek, mau beli MNG, beli saja maaa...nanti sulah mati mana boleh mau pakai lagi..hati juga manyak sinang sama puas ati kalau sulah beli...ada butul ka wa cakap?

Wa secara butul, mau tulis pendek2 saja tapi tangan wa talak mau stop. how leh? wa lagi tunggu wa punya abang mali amik wa, mau pigi itu kfc, makan chicken. Manyak sedap oo, wa suka..

Lost Brain Syndrome

I noticed myself being quite forgetful these days. It is so 'x-file' as though my brain has been taken away and i have no recollection of anything before me. It became obvious last week while i was in Kuching when i had that chit chat with my girlfriends.

Anne popped up the question "so dude, still wanna go and eat the meal that u've been craving for?" and i went "huh?, what meal?" "alah, you know, the one we wanted to have earlier today but didnt get the chance to do so" and my reaction was "today? meal? i do? i craved for something? aih, apaaa??" "New York/Chicago Pizza la dude!"

That was only one of it okay. Cleo stated this as a classic example of LBS (Lost Brain Syndrome), a terrifying age-related phenomenon that strikes when it's likely to cause maximum humiliation. It's so true. But guys, im like only 25! and i've only been 25 for 10 days since 21st June!

However thanks to Cleo, i managed to get some tips on how to regain back my brain! And so i'd like to share the information with the rest of you. Let's.

Cerebral Sit-Ups
The message is: use it or lose it. In other words, try stimulating your mind to think just about anything...that is good and useful of course for at least 10 minutes.

Imagination work-outs
Recall thrives on strong visualization so develop your imagination. Example given by Dominic O'brien; imagine you're in a house you used to lived in and go on a mental tour/journey around it. Imagine the smells, the sound and how it felt. It'll help.

Make Weird Connections
Picture different obscure items in different rooms of your current home. Start in the bedroom and imagine a giant loaf of a bread on the end of your bed. Next, you're in the bathroom and there's milk coming from the taps. (i'm imagining Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, now that's good). Believe you, it works!

Relax
Dont pressure yourself too much. Reward yourself for the good things you did, and for the achievement you've made. It definitely is a good practice plus, it wont hurt to spend a couple of hundreds,not for anyone else but yourself, true? Oh, dont forget to breathe slowly, clench and loosen the muscles from the tips of your toes right up to your forehead. Try it.
