Anniversary

Rupa-rupanya, it has been more than a year
since i first started joining the blogworld.

This was my first post.. my very very first post
dated back in October 16th, 2007.

Im on my way to reach a stat of 10,000 readers.
Never have i imagined i would achieved that in less
than a year. [Stat counters started Dec 07]

I very much owe this to all my blogger friends,
silent readers, and of course all my frequent
commentators. Blogging has never been so much
fun! Without u guys, im not sure i'd even continue
doing what im doing now; blogging!

Interview itew

Tak nak komen banyaklah about my recent scholarship interview, all i can say..me and another guy [both applying overseas] kena tembak berdas-das peluru berpandu...

Jeez, let me tell you this..it wasss undeniably hard but im deeply satisfied with myself. No regrets even if the scholarship is not meant for me, because i've tried my..no i've really given my best for the interview. Seriously, no regrets. alhamdulillah kalau rezeki is by my side..kalau tak, insyaAllah ada rezeki lain God prepared for me. (",)

Nak tengok what i wore for that day? boleh...actually ada rahsia di sebalik attire ni..hehehe.. Hanya aku dan Anne yang tahu.. Kejap ye, upload gambar..

The interview process was indeed long. From 830am, i got out of the building approximately 1130am. Itu pun selepas several rounds of degree holders punya turn, baru la turn for masters applicants. pergh, literally lapar menunggu...

I'm crossing fingers and praying hard. Btw, people, im sober now..hehhe, and Yasser, i behaved well that day..*giggles!

Fragility At Its Best

Yesterday's news;

"You've been shortlisted for Yayasan Scholarship interview. Please make your way to the 10th floor Wisma Satok coming Monday the 3rd."

Gulp.

Is it good? Seriously, i dont know. Is this one heaven of a good news or simply one hell of another disaster for me..two good news in a week, it simply doesn't add up. Or does it? I mean, this is what i've been waiting for since forever rite? Means i should be happy, rite? Im given the chance, major chance thus it has got to be a good thing rite.. ? rite?

Yet, im not happy. Im not excited. Im not even thrilled. All i said was..'oh, ok..' Am i feeling true? However, despite all these nutty crazy blended feelings, i still make my time to study and prepare for the upcoming interview. I remember telling Anne 'i might wanna screw this interview'.. i still might.

Im so not in my stable state. It's not just because of this, but few other personal matters of which i cant really share..is my cinta in it? i guess so...i dont know, not telling.

Whatever it is, i may not update till Monday since i'll be leaving for Kuching either tomorrow evening or Saturday morning. Unless i have something new to share, consider Point Blank is off for a bit until she gains back her self-righteous and finds herself back on track aight.

Do wish me luck people.. I'd be glad receiving words of encouragement, ok..thanks.

Dinner ended approximately 2230 hrs. Semua seronok berkaraoke..i pulak seronok makan altho i wasn't 100% ok yet..telan je..food was deliciiious..We had 'sushi-like' meals comprising yam popia, crab sticks, meatballs, fishballs, obor-obor. Lagi, ayam gors, 2 jenis masakans sayur, fish masak crispy, egg + hotdog soup, sotong masak merah, and desserts yang lazat.

It was a good one. Credits to the caterer lah for my bloated tummy..a fine bloat. ;)

Back to Nature

It's 0050hrs. Just arrived home half and hour ago. From work. Yea, i was in school joining yet another camping Bersepadu Unit Beruniform. For students in our school only lah..started earlier today and will continue till Sunday morning..[sempat lagi ber blogging altho esok i have jungle expedition 8km as early as 7am].

With that said, directly means i'm gonna celebrate our 51st Independence in school. With fellow students. Laung Merdeka bersama mereka. Hmmm.. This will also be the first time i'm celebrating at my own hometown after so many years of being away in KL. I must admit, every single thing still seems new to me, altho it has been 6 months im back home. Adapting is not easy. I almost didnt come back Sarawak as i felt life in Kl suited me more. There are pros and cons. Oh well, let's not talk about that now..One thing good about being back other than getting closer to my mum is, it brought me to Dia Yang Kechomelan..oh oh cinta. [ada sambungan rupanya, padahal dah tulis sebelum tu let's not talk about it..*tersengih]

Oklah people, i'm hitting the sack now. Esok long journey masuk hutan. Since Ramadhan is just two days away, i'm wishing every muslim selamat berpuasa in advance. Till then, take care and have a pleasant weekend. Good nite.

Rescue 999

She's super crazy. The craziest creature on earth you'll ever get. I'm mumbling bout my cat, Mek@Boolat. She was stuck on top of the roof of our neighbour's house yesterday and guess how long? Right before sunrise till right before sunset. Nuts.

My mom and i are usually off to work say around 6.35-640 am everyday. It was yesterday at that time mom first spotted her there but took no notice for Mom thought she'd KNOW how to climb back down. Unfortunately she doesn't. Hmm..

No wonder lah si kenit tu not at home during lunch time kelmarin. And the weather was incredibly super hot. I reached home near to 2pm and found it weird she was not by the door as she would usually be. (Before that, just so you know, my cat ni, tak bley tengok open doors, she'll bolos herself right in.) So, it's my routine kalau dia takde dpn pintu, it's time to search for her inside all the rooms you'd think she might be in. However, none. I went "Aik, mana si gendut ni" - well, that's what i call her sometimes) but since i had limited time, i took it she went visiting friends next door.


Came back about 530pm, Mom told me our little kitty is still on the rooftop and asked to go get the ladder. But silly Boolat memang clueless, ke dia tak paham sekejap mak aku cakap omputih, sekejap ckp bahasa sarawak dengan dia..mesti dia bengong "ape ke bendo tuan aku ni cakap, gilo po, mano aku nak pahem, aku ni kuceng..cis.."...aku bajet la dia miaw mcm tu kat mak aku.


Anyway, the rescue was a success..but not until i had to call the owner of the house, Uncle William and borrowed their longer ladder and i finally climbed it, to go get Boolat myself! Kesian kat si gendut, she was so hungry she ate the whole bowl of her dinner. Perhaps too tired of her day adventure, she slept like no one's business that night. Sayang kat engkau gendut, lain kali panjat la lagi k..muah!

This was once in a lifetime event i shall never forget for the rest of my life. It was especially my happy moment other than meeting up with friends again. All hard work has been paid and this is significantly for my mother. Love you Mom, i wouldn't have made it without you. Muah! Muah!

I watched Miss Universe 2008 half way through before i fell asleep. Darn.

Anyway, here's the result. Been meaning to post it but kept on forgetting. I'm getting old.

Top 5 finalist. I kinda like the dress worn by Miss Dominican Republic (centre) as well as the one next to her left.
