Minyak masak pun naik?

Sold out: Stores in Bintulu ran out of cooking oil yesterday following panic buying on Friday, blamed on an SMS rumour that the price of cooking oil was going up soon.

That happened last friday while i was out with my mom, sis and nephew. People were queueing undeniably long at various supermarkets stocking up their cooking oil. There goes your money. It was only rumours. No such thing. It was on the news today, the stir was caused by some prank sms spreading cooking oil price would increase too by 50%. Tak belajar dari kesilapan lalu. Mcm tu la Malaysians, dapat je sms, terus panic, gi keluarkan duit berjuta2 dari bank yang sememangnya ada RM 100 saja, kemudian beli berbotol2 minyak masak..kesudahan? tipu semata2. Amik.

It was not at all in the news, only sugar and electricity tariff. That we cannot help anymore cause what's done is done. But, cooking oil? Hello, the last time that issue shook the country, i didnt even bother to buy, still i have enuff stock at home. Malas nak ikut panik2..tak kemana, cerita HANGAT DI PASARAN tu usually bertahan seminggu or the most 2. Lepas tu senyap la balik. Kalau la tanya kat aku yang belajar marketing ni, dalam otak aku takda lain, government saja je nak kasi haru biru, so that people will go and buy and finally habiskan stok2 clearance. Untung gomen. Kayap rakyat.

All im just saying is that, we watched citizens of Miri berebut2 buying minyak masak sampai satu trolly satu family, and we did nothing to join. Malas. Buat penat queue, lepas tu esok keluar berita, tipu semata2. Muahaha. Takpa lah korang kaya, beli la banyak2..aku masak rebus je..sihat tubuh badan..
